Common questions

How do I delete my reports?

Open the More tab in the app and tap Delete my reports. This removes every report you've ever submitted. It's not recoverable, so use it deliberately.

I saw a report that breaks the rules. How do I flag it?

Open the place's detail page, find the report, and swipe left on it. Tap Flag and confirm. Flagged reports are hidden from everyone while they're reviewed.

I want to stop seeing a particular contributor's reports.

Same swipe action — tap Block instead. That contributor's reports are hidden on your device. You can unblock all from More → Unblock all.

How do I stop sharing my location?

Open iOS Settings → Cola Compass and revoke the Location permission. The app will still work for browsing reported places by name on the Search tab.

Reporting other issues

For bugs, crashes, abusive content the in-app flag didn't catch, data deletion requests not covered by the in-app tools, or anything else — email the address above with as much detail as you can share (what you tried, what you expected, what happened, your iOS version and device model).
